Smoky Vanilla BBQ Sauce


1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tbsp canned chipotle chilies with sauce, chopped
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup catsup
1 tbsp dark molasses
1 tsp Ground Vanilla Beans


Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Add garlic and sauté until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, stirring occasionally, 45-60 minutes. Makes 1½ cups
